SNOW DAY!

I can't remember the last time we had this much snow let alone when it all came at once. We got about 19inches over night and it snowed most of the day today. Thankfully it did stop or i might be snowed in for a while.

McKendrick actually went to school this morning but alot of kids didn't go and some of the buses got stuck. Needless to say school was canceled and he was home by 11. He thought it was pretty cool that only 5 kids in the whole first grade showed up & they got to drink chocolate milk and watch movies.

The boys had a ton of fun playing in it and helping me build a "no man" as Parker says.

Parker said "mom help me I'm tuck"

SANTA CLAUS

Last monday December 13, we went to see Santa at the Roosevelt City Police Dept. christmas party. It was fun. Parker was very excited all day to see santa, but was a little suspicious once he got close to him. McKendrick was also excited to tell santa that he wanted a dirt bike for christmas. Ryston loved santa, well he really doesn't care who is holding him just as long as he is being held. Anyway they all liked santa and we are all excited for him to come in 4 days!

Ryston's Blessing

Ryston was blessed on December 12, 2010 by his daddy Morant. It was a wonderful blessing. After his blessing we had a little brunch. Thanks for all the help of my father-in-law for cooking so much meat & the eggs. & thanks to all those who came and helped make the day special for Ryston & us.(even though Ryston won't remember).

One Month

Well I can't believe it has been 1 month already since Ryston was born. Time fly's and I am soooo NOT ready to go back to work. I know I have another month but it goes by way to fast and I dont want to have to leave my kids again. Ryston is getting so big, I cant believe how fast they grow. Seems like you forget alot in between each child.
So here are some memories of his first month. He eats about every 2-3 hours. Sleeps most of the time in between. I love when he is sleeping and he gives me the cutest smiles, makes me wonder what he is dreaming about. Ryston is such a good baby, I am just so blessed to have him in my life. Enjoy some pics.

Introducing Ryston E. Harrison

Ryston E. Harrison was welcomed into this world on October 30, 2010 at 6:26 a.m. weighing in at 7lbs. 1 oz. and 19.5 inches long. I am so glad he is finally here.

This is kinda a long post but here is how it all went down.

I went into the docotor the morning of the 29th, I was still dilated to a 2 and he didn't seem like he was convinced that I was going to do anything so we talked about how far I could actually go over my due date ( I was only willing to go a week past, thankfully that didn't happen.) Anyway I asked for him to strip my membranes hoping that it would do something. I went home and went about my day.
I had contractions throughout most of my pregnancy but they never really hurt and weren't regular. So about 6 o'clock I was havng contractions while making dinner, they didn't really hurt but they just kept coming. Morant left to work around 6:30 and about then I decided I would start timing them. The contractions were coming every 3-4 min but I thought I would wait it out. I watched a movie with the boys, McKendrick did his nightly reading and then at about 8:30 they went to bed. The contractions were starting to hurt a little more but I didn't want to go to the hospital yet because I didn't want to get sent home and have my co-workers think I was dumb for coming in. So I cleaned up the kitchen a little bit and tried to watch a movie. I even rented the thing off Dish network. Needless to say I couldn't concentrate very well on the movie. At about 10:00 I decided I would take a bath and try to relax. After I got out of the bath I decided I probably needed to go in so I finished packing my bag, called Morant, loaded up the boys and headed to the hospital. I dropped the boys off at my mother and father in-law's & went to the hospital.
When I got to the hospital around 11:00 they checked me in. The nurse checked me & told me I was dilated to about a 4 and that this was probably the real deal. YAY!! I called Morant, told him this was the real thing, the nurse started my I.V. we did the paperwork and was ready for a baby to be born.
I was hoping to go without an epidural this time around since I did with Parker (not by choice, but I felt soooo much better afterward) but I guess I just got worried once the pain got worse that I would want one & not be able to get one in time so I jumped on the first chance they gave me and got the epidural. (Which now I regret because it wasn't working completely anyway).
Around 2 am the nurse checked me and I was an 8, she thought my water would be breaking at anytime, which didn't happen. Around 5:30 I called the nurse because I was hurting so bad, despite the epidural, she said I was still dilated to about an 8-8.5. She called my doctor to come break my water. He got there about 6am, broke my water and at 6:26 with one push and contraction Ryston was born. All in all it was a good delivery glad it is over but thankful it was quite uneventful.

Proud big brothers Parker held him for about a minute and said"He's fat", and pushed him off.

McKendrick was happy his brother was finally here. Proud Daddy

37 Weeks &2 days

So I am now 37 weeks and 2days, only a few weeks left of this pregnancy and I will have another cute baby boy to hold! YAY ! I am so excited. I went to the doctor today and I was dilated to a 2, which is an improvement from last week so I guess that is good, at least I am making progress right! I was hoping it would be a little bit more but I guess I still have a few weeks left. I would love for him to make his appearance any day now but there is no rush as long as he is healthy when he does come. I guess I will just have to be patient a little bit longer. My doctor is going out of town on saturday and won't be back until next thursday so that is probably when I will have him knowing my luck. I guess I will keep doing what I have been & hopefully baby Harrison will make his appearance sooner rather than later.

Potty Training success & Holly Fair Crafts

Well I think it is safe to say that Parker is pretty much potty trained, He still has his occasional accidents but is pretty good most of the time and tells me when he needs to go potty. He doesnt really like to go poop on the potty but he does, but would rather go outside, yuck! Anyway i am super excited and so proud of him. YAY!!!
On the other subject I have been working on stuff to sell at the Holly Fair and my latest project was tutu's, needless to say Parker thought they were quite cool & had to put several of them on and play. Morant would kill me if/when he finds out I took pictures but he was just so cute I couldn't resist.

Babe #3 - 3D ultrasound

On monday we got to get our 3D ultrasound of baby boy #3. I was super excited since this was my first 3D ultrasound. It wasn't offered for either of my other boys. I think they turned out ok. I think I was expecting them to try a little harder for better pics but since it is a free service I guess my expectations were too high. We got some pretty good face shots right at the beginning. The tech was trying to get a good foot or hand picture but baby just wouldn't hold still he was rolling around the whole time. I think he is super cute and can't wait for his entrance into this world in a little less than 10 weeks. YAY!

He must have been bent in half because he had his foot by his face every time she tried to get a good pic of it.

Pretty good one of his face. I think he has Morant's nose.

This one looks like he is trying to suck his toes. So cute. It always amazes me how flexible they are.

Another cute face :)

New to the blogging world

Well I have been wanting to start a blog for quite some time now just didn't really want to spend the time to do it. Obviously I got bored so I decided I would start now. With another baby on the way I thought it would be a fun way to post fun things that happen in life so that I can remember them throughout the years.
We went camping for the last 2 weekends, one with my side of the family, the next with the Harrison side. It is alot of work but it is very worth it in the end. The boys had a ton of fun both weekends and were super dirty, but thats ok at least they were having fun. Here are some pics from camping.
Morant took Parker for a ride & he fell asleep
